Hi Natsuru! I hope I'm not bothering you at a bad time. It's been four days and we're almost at our destination now, so I thought now would be a good time to check in with my friends that aren't here.
[She's sure Aefenglom is doing just fine but-- she still wants to make sure. She does miss her friends that chose to stay back, even if going for so long was her choice.]
[The girl that answers has her hair loosely braided into two plaits falling over her shoulders, and is still wearing a loose nightgown trimmed with lace and frills. In fact, it's a bit looser than it probably should be, since Natsuru has already shrunk a size or two since she bought it.]
I-It's fine! I'm just home today.
[It still feels weird calling the apartment she now shares with Monika 'home'. But that thought passes, as she starts to look more concerned about Towa's situation.]
You're... sure you're going to be okay in... that place?
[They'd talked about this already before Towa left, and it's probably too late to do anything now. But she's still worried, okay? Even though she'd seen how Towa can not only take care of herself, but also others, in the dream.]
I'm really glad-- I didn't want to bother you, but I was kind of eager to try it out now that we're so close to our destination. I would have been really sad if I wasn't able to talk to you while I was away.
[It's such a relief, in these anxious times, to just be able to sit here and talk to a friend. Even if the inevitable is going to come up, it's-- comforting. Towa's dressed for bed herself; a spaghetti strap nightgown sitting comfortably on her shoulders. Her hair is still pulled back-- but into more of a ponytail, than her usual lose bow.]
But really... I promise, I'll be fine. And I'll be back before you know it! When I get back, we should really do something. Like... a sleepover! It would be nice.
[And in truth, she'd like to give her something to look forward to, so hopefully she doesn't worry as much.]
[Hearing Towa say something like that so openly... it tugs at her heart in a way she's really not used to. Did... she feel the same way? She knew she was going to miss Towa and worry about her, but she hadn't thought about it quite that way before!]
Yeah... it's nice to still be able to talk like this!
[Genuine relief is plainly visible on her face. She's glad to hear from Towa, glad to see that she's still okay. It makes her realize that yes, she'd have been really sad too if they hadn't had some way to reach each other. More than she ever would have imagined.
Towa's suggestion still manages to catch her off guard, though. And she responds with an odd mixture of shock and what might be excitement?]
R-Really?! A sleepover? I, um... I'd like that, if it's okay.
[She's still apprehensive - she's never done this sort of thing before! But it does sound nice? And she doesn't want to act too nervous and make Towa think she doesn't want to spend time with her!]
Heehee, that's wonderful. I'm really looking forward to it.
[There's a lot of work ahead of her, probably, and when it's all over it would nice to be able to enjoy a little break. And this isn't the sort of thing she normally would have been able to do either. She was always so busy, even back home.
But here she had room to work hard but... also enjoy the little things she missed normally.]
I'll hold you to it, then. Whether it's your place or mine, I don't really mind either way. Of course... at my place it's a bit crowded since all my friends live there. But if you don't mind sharing a room, then you're more than welcome there.

[It sounds like Towa chose to live in a bigger place than just a simple two-bedroom apartment, though? It might be a little awkward if there's a lot of people there, but if her room is big enough to share... it should be fine. She's getting used to living with Monika too, she can handle sharing a room with Towa! Maybe?]
Th-That's fine, though! It's your friends from the guild too? I kinda wanted to meet them... just to introduce myself...
[After all, with everything that's happened lately, she hasn't been getting out and meeting her friends' friends much. It's part of the reason she eventually agreed to do some part-time jobs with Monika. But she really wanted to help with the guild someday too, after hearing Towa talk about it and how important it seemed to her.]
That’s right! I haven’t had a chance to introduce you yet. They’re my former classmates from back home. They’re all really wonderful, and I’m sure they’d love to meet you too! Right now it’s just Rean, Elliot, Fie and I living there.
[It’s a lot for a house, probably, but compared to the dorms back in school, it’s really just a small number. There are still a rather large number of their classmates unaccounted for after all.]
All the more reason to have it at my place then! I’ll make the preparations as soon as we return. I’m really looking forward to it!
[That is a lot of people to live with, but somehow a smaller number than Natsuru anticipated. She wouldn't be surprised at all to hear how many more friends Towa had back home, and she's sure they are wonderful if Towa says they are.]
